Talk about life like it’s all the rage,
Talk about rage like it’s all your life,
All depends on the size of your age,
What you’ve seen and what you feel of strife
We’re cutting class
Wasting time and wasting the money
We’re cutting class
Thinking it’s fine and funny
Last laugh on you, that’s my fault so forget it,
That’s that, that’s through, just how far can you get it?
Can you feel it, can you fell it? That’s kinda freaky
Skint and dreaming how you smell it only working weekly.
We’re cutting class
Wasting time and wasting the money
We’re cutting class
Thinking it’s fine and funny
We’re cutting class
Wasting time and wasting the money
We’re cutting class
Thinking it’s fine and funny

This is my bad day, this is how it began,
Started in a moment just a flash in the pan,
I walked downstairs, I was wearing my jeans,
Caught them on the corner, they ripped up to my knees
and now I’m running late, I gotta get on the train
The skies have darkened over, getting pissed on by rain
One minute left! Best fly
I get to the station but the train waves goodbye.
It’s like when you’re drilling and your battery goes flat,
You’ve gotta make that phone call but you’re all strapped for cash,
You’re rolling your last rizzla, it gets wet in the rain,
When you gonna realize that today’s not your day?
Your bass gets badly dinged, an unreliable strap,
You think you’ve won some money, a nigerian trap
You haven’t seen your headphones for god knows how long,
Everything’s gone wrong!
You’ve been gutted, been rejected and denied
You’ve been gutted, you’ve been rejected and denied
So I get off the train and I head to town,
Find the record store and the queues have gone down
I ask the vendor if he’s got tickets to sell
He told me “boy, you ain’t got no chance in hell”
I let down my boys, but what can I do?
Feeling shit I go to have a smoke with the crew
But as I walk in, the last walks out,
Seems like this town’s also having a drought.
It’s like when you’re drilling and your battery goes flat,
You’ve gotta make that phone call but you’re all strapped for cash,
You’re rolling your last rizla, it gets wet in the rain,
When you gonna realize that today’s not your day?
Your bass gets badly dinged, an unreliable strap,
You think you’ve won some money, a nigerian trap
You haven’t seen your headphones for god knows how long,
Everything’s gone wrong!
You’ve been gutted, been rejected and denied
You’ve been gutted, you’ve been rejected and denied
Around 8 o’clock, I head to the bar,
Try to drown my sorrows with another artois,
The new girl gives it to me with a head that’s real big
But I don’t care so I take a good swig
I turn round, to try and sit down
Followed by the noise of my pint hitting the ground
The girl I like sees and sighs,
Guess I can wave all my chances goodbye!
